When should you apply for your student visa?
Once you have received confirmation of your enrollment in your preferred school or university, you may usually begin your student visa application process.
It is preferable to apply as soon as possible, regardless of when your program is scheduled to begin, because visa processing dates can vary.
How do you apply for a student visa?
There are various procedures to applying for a student visa. The order of these processes and how you complete them may differ depending on where you wish to study.
Most students will need:
- Proof of enrolment in a recognized educational institution.
- Proof of your ability to fund the costs of plane travel, course tuition, and living expenses for yourself and your family members during your stay.
- A passport valid for at least six months beyond your stay.
- You may also be asked to demonstrate your English language proficiency and undergo health and/or police checks.
